ACCESS CONTROL

A Simple Investment

Your business has grown and your phone system can’t meet your needs. Maybe your current phone system is on its last legs. What should you do? You’ve heard of a new technology called “IP-phone” or “voice over IP” (VOIP). You’re not sure what it is or how it works. Inception Network Strategies can answer your questions and provide the equipment and service you need. We’ve partnered with 3COM to sell and service their NBX “convergence” technology. Convergence simply means that telephones and computers need not be separate systems any more. An NBX system can share the same equipment and cabling as your computer network and still connect to your existing phone system. It’s doesn’t matter whether your network is local area (LAN) or wide area (WAN). The NBX can utilize both, and even use the WAN to connect to your other offices. Using PCXset software, we can transform your desktop or notebook computer into a phone, leaving your desk open for other things. The NBX system comes with voicemail, automated attendants, and a host of other features at a fraction of the cost of plain old telephone service (POTS).

As Big or As Small As Your Business Needs

The NBX system is available at a very reasonable price. Depending on your needs, 3COM makes several models of the NBX product but all of them are modular. As your business needs grow internally you simply add another NBX. You still need your local phone company to connect you to their nearest “point of presence”, but the phone line just plugs in to the jack on the NBX. Inception’s certified technicians can program the NBX system to fit your specific needs. We can set up extensions, voicemail boxes, program different greetings for different times, provide hunt groups, call forwarding, and a host of other features.

A Strategic Partnership

Inception Network Strategies is partnered with AT&T. Inception can call on AT&T resources for your long distance and wide area connection requirements. Whether it's an 800 number or a T-1 connection, we can help you get the service you need.
